Beware of Scams

We urge members to stay extra vigilant about cyber scams regarding COVID-19. Cyber actors may send emails with malicious attachments or links to fraudulent websites to trick victims into revealing sensitive information or donating to fraudulent charities or causes. Exercise caution in handling any email with a COVID-19-related subject line, attachment, or hyperlink, and be wary of social media pleas, texts or calls related to COVID-19.

Suspended Disconnections & Late Fees Through COVID-19 Crisis

We want to remind you that we are here for you and your families throughout this uncertain time. As part of our COVID-19 response plan, late fees and non-pay disconnections have been suspended for both traditional and FlexPay (prepaid) accounts as we work through this crisis.

We are committed to helping you keep your costs manageable. If you anticipate having trouble paying your bill, we encourage you to contact us so that we can work with you to develop a payment plan and share tips to help you reduce your energy usage. 

Offices Closed to Walk-In Traffic Beginning Monday, March 16

In an effort to protect our members’ and employees’ health amid the rapidly evolving COVID-19 virus, we are taking additional precautions by restricting walk-in traffic at our offices in Asheboro and Robbins beginning Monday, March 16, at 8:00 a.m. Our drive-through window at the Asheboro office will remain open to serve members.  Even though we are utilizing a temporary office across the street, the drop box inside the front door at the original Robbins office will be available for members to drop in payments.
